Refund Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Braido subscriptions and Credit packs. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our reseller and Merchant of Record, and refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.

Summary. You have a 14-day cooling-off period from purchase: if the purchase is unused, you get a full refund. Once you have started using a purchase, or after the 14 days have passed, it is non-refundable and the Credits remain usable until they expire. Subscriptions: cancel any time, keep access until the end of the current billing period, then renewal simply stops — no prorated refund. Promotional bonus Credits, used Credits, and expired Credits are never refundable. We always honor refunds required by mandatory consumer law and refunds caused by our error or fault.

1. 14-day cooling-off (withdrawal)

You may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the purchase date. If the purchased Credits or subscription are unused at the time of your request, you receive a full refund of that purchase. This 14-day right applies worldwide and meets or exceeds the statutory cooling-off periods in the jurisdictions we serve (for example, 14 days in the EU/UK and 7 days in Korea).

Once you have started using a purchase (consumed any of its Credits, or used the subscription), or once the 14 days have passed, the purchase is non-refundable except as described in Sections 5 and 9. This is disclosed to you at the time of purchase, and by starting to use the Service you acknowledge that your cooling-off right ends to that extent.

When a purchase is refunded, the Credits granted by that purchase are removed from your balance.

2. Subscriptions

You may cancel a paid Plan at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to the Plan and its remaining monthly Credits until the end of the current billing period, after which it simply does not renew. We do not prorate or refund the unused remainder of a billing period after the 14-day cooling-off window, except where mandatory law requires it or where the refund is due to our error or fault. A subscription that is unused within the 14-day cooling-off period is fully refundable under Section 1.

The 14-day cooling-off applies to your initial subscription purchase. Automatic renewal charges are not separately refundable — to avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date, which is shown in your account. This does not affect refunds required by mandatory law or caused by our error.

3. Credit packs

A Credit pack that is unused within the 14-day cooling-off period is fully refundable under Section 1. Once you have started using a pack, or after 14 days, the pack is non-refundable; the remaining Credits stay usable until they expire (see Section 4). Promotional bonus Credits added to a pack are granted at no charge, have no cash value, and are never refundable.

4. Validity period is not a refund window

Each Credit expires six (6) months from the date it is granted or purchased. This six-month validity is how long the Credits remain usable — it is not a window during which unused Credits can be cashed out. After the 14-day cooling-off period, unused Credits can still be used until they expire, but they are not refundable for cash. Expired Credits are removed and are not refundable.

5. Partial refunds

We do not normally provide partial refunds. Refunds under this policy are all-or-nothing: a full refund of an unused purchase within 14 days, or none. A Credit pack you have begun using is not refundable (Section 3), and we do not prorate the unused remainder of a subscription period (Section 2).

In the limited cases where a partial refund is legally required — for example where mandatory consumer law requires a refund for the unused portion of a partially used service — or where we choose to issue one due to our error or as a goodwill gesture, we calculate it fairly on a per-purchase basis, based on the Credits left unused in that specific purchase and excluding promotional bonus Credits.

6. Free and promotional Credits

Free signup Credits and other promotional grants have no cash value and are never refundable.

7. Used and expired Credits

Credits you have already consumed, and Credits that have expired (each expires six months from grant/purchase), are not refundable.

8. How to request a refund

Contact Braido Support at [email protected] from your account email, including your account email and the transaction/receipt reference. We review requests promptly and, where approved, instruct Paddle to issue the refund to your original payment method. Processing times depend on Paddle and your payment provider (typically several business days). You may also request refunds directly through Paddle using the link on your Paddle receipt; Paddle's buyer terms also apply.

9. Chargebacks, abuse, and exceptions

We may decline or reverse refunds, and suspend Accounts, where we reasonably believe the refund process is being abused (e.g. repeated buy-and-refund cycles, or fraud). Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your Account.

If you were charged in error, were charged for a service unavailable due to our fault, or are entitled to a refund under mandatory consumer-protection law, contact us and we will make it right regardless of the rules above. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
